A LUXURY APARTMENT DECORATED IN NEUTRAL AND NATURAL COLORS AND WABI SABI STYLE

The Pacific Ocean, the Hollywood Hills, downtown Los Angeles… through the large windows of this luxurious apartment in the iconic Sierra Towers skyscraper . Inside it, interior designer Jenni Lauri has created sophisticated and elegant spaces for her client, a prominent technology executive who was looking for a pied-à-terre in the city. The design is inspired by the wabi-sabi aesthetic, giving shape to very natural and warm interiors. Lauri Design Studio’s taste for impeccable craftsmanship is shown in all aspects of the house, without leaving any detail to chance, something that is perceived from the moment you enter the entrance doors, made to measure and with handles made by the sculptor Martin de Winter.

The studio introduced warmth using wooden elements, while Moroccan wool rugs and sumptuous seats upholstered in soft fabrics invite comfort and relaxation. The carefully chosen timeless color palette combines sandy tones, caramel browns and terracottas, seeking a balance based on natural materials and textured finishes. To dress the spaces, many pieces of furniture designed and made to measure for this project were included, mixing them with exquisite pieces from the best designers. As a finishing touch, art becomes an integral part of the environments , with renowned artists such as Manolo Ballesteros, Eline Baas, Marianne Kolb, Kurt Tranpedach, Jan Maarten Voskuil and Jan Ernst adorning the walls. “This project serves as a testament to the studio’s unwavering commitment to attention to detail, elevating the concept of luxury living to new heights of artistry, refinement and cohesive beauty,” explains Lauri.
